Beautify the City

In many ways Sheboygan is a beautiful city however the main corridors leading into our city are NOT beautiful. Take, for instance, Memorial Drive which is a fine four lane entrance portal with a median which is many times overgrown with weeds and poorly maintained grass. Something needs to be done to improve the Highway 28 entrance into the city. At the present time a rather unattractive route to the cities center.

I would call upon all civic groups such as the JayCees, Rotarians and the Kiwanis Club, along with local garden clubs to assist in this endeavor. Key members of all of these organizations would be asked to meet with the Mayor on a regular basis to offer input and advice in the form of a round table forum to assist the Mayor in his efforts to beautify our city.
